Akanksha Puri began her career as a Model. She made her debut in 2013 with the film “Alex Pandian” which was a Tamil film. Later in 2015, she made her debut in Bollywood with film “Calendar Girls 2015”.
In 2017 she was roped in to play the role of Devi Parwati In the Mythological TV serial “Vighnaharta Ganesha”.

In Mika Di Vohti, Akanksha was a wild card entry whose prime opponents were Prantika Das and Neet Mahal who had also entered the competition much later as wild cards.
The show has been won by Akanksha and she has been given the title of Mika Singh’s ‘Vohti’. During a reality show in which 12 women came to compete for Mika’s love, the singer learned that he was going to choose his life partner through the show itself. Akanksha Puri has been chosen by Mika as his life partner as a result of her success.
