Career
Sugandha Mishra was fond of acting and singing since childhood. Her career started when she worked as a radio jockey in BIG FM, India. She performed for a prime-time morning show. In the early days of her acting career, she did many jobs such as singing jingles and bhajans, doing short roles in documentaries, plays, and short films.
She is classically trained in music by her grandfather, Pt. Shankar Lal Mishra, a disciple of Ustaad Amir Khan Sahib. She got recognition as singer when she participated in reality show Zee Hero Honda – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and end up being third runner up. She has given her voice to many Bollywood movies such as Shree, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal etc.
Apart from singing in movies she is known for working in many singing, comedy shows and hosting many television shows. She is known for her portrayal of famous teachers character Vidyavati in The Kapil Sharma Show as comedian.
