Mithila Palkar was always active in dramatics, dancing, and singing during her school days. She comes from a non-acting background. Initially, her father and grandfather opposed her decision of choosing acting as a career but later agreed with her.
In 2014, She came to India after completing her acting crash course from Stella Adler Studio, Los Angeles and started giving out audition. Her career in acting began after she played a role in the Marathi short film Majha Honeymoon. After this, she appeared in Nikhil Advani’s Hindi film Katti Batti in the role of Imran Khan’s sister.
In 2018, Mithila got the opportunity to play the lead role in Karwaan film. Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salmaan also starred in this movie. In 2019, she acted in Chopsticks, a Netflix original film.
